For both my daughter and I, our time learning with Lindsay has become a treasured highlight of our week that we both look forward to.
Through positive praise and encouragement, Lindsay has nurtured self confidence, dedication and a love of music for my daughter.
As a parent, I am in awe of Lindsay ability to connect to and inspire young minds

About

Lindsay Braga studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Richard Deakin, and carried on her studies afterwards with Wen Zhou Li. Over the next twelve years, she worked as a first violinist with many orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Welsh National Opera, the English National Ballet, the Goldberg Ensemble and Manchester Camerata. Since her move to Devon, Lindsay has become a sought after chamber music player, performing concerts all over the South West.

Lindsay has always had a passion for teaching and has built up a healthy private studio in Totnes in Devon, teaching students from three year old beginners to diploma standard.  She is a trained Suzuki teacher and has taught at Bryanston International Summer School. She also runs ceilidhs with wider groups of young string players and runs the Dartmoor Strings ensemble.
